What Happened to The Way of the Foot and HAND

Olympic athletes are excellent. Unfortunately TaeKwonDo is not being accurately represented in the Olympics, at least as I see it. Fundamentally this is a Martial Art which is being watered down for sport. Call it something else or have it truly represent what it has been since its inception in post-war Korea. Would Karate be presented with out hand work, Judo without throws, Boxing standing still.
