The Best of the Best
Best of the Best
This is one of my favorite movies.
True that IMDb gave it a low rate, but it's hard to find a martial art's movie that has a high one.
Still it is one of the best martial arts movies I have ever seen. It features an American National Team facing a Korean Team on a martial arts contest. One of the best things about this movie is that Taekwondo appears at its best, though the American team is called National American Karate Team.
It's a minor blooper that one can easily surpass because of the awesome martial arts scenes. Eric Roberts and Philip Rhee (6th Dan in Taekwondo, 4th Dan in Hapkido and 1st dan in Kendo) lead the story about the American team, whose members struggle to be up to the challenge of some of the best martial artists in the world, the Koreans.
