KOR-AM Tae Kwon Do (WTF)

Here's the belt system for KOR-AM tae kwon do:

-no belt (5 lessons)
-white belt
-yellow belt
-orange belt
-green belt
-blue belt
-blue/1 stripe
-purple belt
-purple/1 stripe
-purple/2 stripes
-red belt
-red/1 stripe
-red/2 stripes
-red/3 stripes
-red & black (candidate)
-black belt

-Currently, I am at blue/1 stripe, but I am testing for purple belt on Saturday, June 5th, 2010.

I have been training for almost a year and the thing I love the most so far, is it seems at every lesson, I always learn something new.

The hardest part at the beginning is that maybe I'd be the oldest beginner, but we have green belts who are in their 80's, so that's not really a concern anymore:)

I love my school and I can't wait to earn my black belt! Pil Sung!

Yea I know how you feel about being the oldest in class. I started 3 months ago and I'm 42. I just passed my Gold belt test. But I feel better than I have in years
