heel kick or spinning heel kick

by Lee
(Canton, NC, USA)

It's hard it's fast and it's hard to stop!

Looks much like the back spinning kick at first but instead of a straight kick- hook it right in there.

This can be a very devastating kick!

I train in Waynesville NC under Master Marshall Hale. He originally was from North Miami with Grand Master Young Soo Do.

I originally was taught this kick at the American black belt academy in Canton NC. The school was run by instructor Wes Westmoreland.

I like using it incorporated in combination with others but as a surprise. If used well it is hard to stop.

Hi Lee. Thanks for this - I'm sure our readers will have a go a spinning heel kick now.

Has anyone else out there had success with this kick?

Thanks again Lee
