Right after sparring, so im rather sweaty.

Right after sparring, so im rather sweaty.

At Combat Taekwondo Association of Macao we use a system that goes like this:

White Belt

White Yellow Belt

Yellow Belt

Yellow Green Belt

Green Belt

Green Blue Belt

Blue Belt

Blue Red Belt

Red Belt

Red Black Belt

Black and so on.

Currently I am a Blue Red Belt.

The part I have enjoyed the most has been learning to be more mature, controlled and not scared of taking a hit and more brave in everyday life.

The hardest part has been conditioning by body and since sparring is a rather important component in the CTA, working to become fast and strong has been the hardest part that I'm still working at.

But it's still great fun. :)

Hi Calvin

Great to hear from you! I think lots of people, like you, find sparring the toughest part of taekwondo.

Well done for getting to blue/red belt. Glad to hear you are having fun on your journey and thanks for a great photo :)
